The latest communication from the School Principal follows and gives an indication of the desperate need for these items :-

Dear Mr Booth

Thanks again for hearing from you. As usual your emails are so full of excitements that it gives me extra motivation to queue for access for the internet. The Board of Governors and the rest of TBIA cannot thank you, your football club and their families enough for what you have done so far for the Academy and what you have agreed to continue to do for us. I printed your letter on Friday and distributed it to the whole of the Board. We had a special assembly for the children as it was the end of term, so you can imagine their response when the email was read to them. The kids and their families who were invited at this assembly were delighted and very thankful to you in particular for creating this link for us. We will always remember you as a school.

The items you have listed below are perfect in terms of our needs.

Ø        Leeds City Football Shirts, Shorts and Socks- Very welcomed

Ø        Replica Football Shirts, i.e. Leeds United, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool – This will be welcomed because every child, teacher or parents of kids from TBIA supports teams in the UK and other countries. So this will bring them much closer to their teams.

Ø        Football Boots - These are mostly needed, so we will welcome them. Some kids can't afford trainers, so they play with bear-foot (no shoes on)

Ø        Training Shoes- Very Welcomed

Ø        Books – TBIA consist of nursery, primary, secondary and high school, so we will accept any books you can collect We want to start a Library next term, so any books, reference books will be welcomed .

Ø        Computers (Are “old” computers of any use, i.e. Windows 2000, Windows XP). -   Any working computers are welcomed; this will enable us to create a computer lab for the children. We have kids in high school who have never sat on a computer so this is a big need.

Ø        Musical Instruments - We study music at school but none of the kids have never played an instrument or seeing one, so this will be an experience.

Ø        Other sports goods, i.e. Cricket, Tennis Rackets - Very welcomed so that kids can learn new sports.

Even used clothes, shoes, bags, bicycles will be more than welcome. The used clothes will be distributed to poorer families and kids from distance villages can use the bicycles to be in school in time.  Any other item you can think of, will be welcomed.

Can you please send us your club Logo or photos so we can put them in our website as our main sponsors.  Hope to hear from you.

Thanks

Mr Aiah Sourie
